Description
Idaho, central, Birch Creek and the Lemhi Range at sunrise in early spring. Captured on traditional 4x5 sheet film. Birch Creek flows in the valley between the majestic Lemhi Mountains to the west and the Beaverhead Mountains of the Bitterroot Range to the east. This remote area in central Idaho remains largely undeveloped and is a favorite for those seeking solitude with some great fishing opportunities. The valley is officially classified as a high desert but doesn't match what is generally thought of under the definition of desert. The local population includes Mule Deer, Sage Grouse, and Antelope but not much in the human variety.
